At Hope Mental Health, Satu Woodland, PMHCNS-BC, APRN treats those in the Treasure Valley with mental health problems. Treatment typically begins with a comprehensive evaluation of a patient’s medical history, past psychiatric history, cultural issues, and lab work. From there, the team tailors a treatment program that promotes mental health wellness through healthy habits, behavioral counseling, medications when needed, and psychotherapy. Providers can address any number of mental health problems, including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), schizophrenia, and bipolar illness. The goal at Hope Mental Health is to achieve remission by helping patients deal with the here-and-now and providing them with the tools they need to lead productive and happy lives.
Ms. Woodland is the clinic owner and has provided psychiatric treatment to her patients for 30+ years. She completed her training at the University of California, San Francisco and provides medication management as well as psychotherapy. Over the years, she has gained specialized training in providing Exposure Response Prevention Therapy for the treatment of OCD. While this is her subspecialty, she has extensive experience treating all mental illnesses. She is currently accepting new Adolescent and Adult patients.
